Autodesk Inventor Nesting is professional true-shape nesting software that helps manufacturers optimize flat raw material usage, minimize waste, and reduce production costs. Integrated with Autodesk Inventor, it automatically arranges components across multiple sheets using selected materials, packaging dimensions, quantities, and allowable orientations. Users can compare nesting studies, evaluate material efficiency, estimate costs, maintain grain direction, generate detailed reports, export DXF files, and create cutting toolpaths using Inventor CAM. Inventor Nesting improves engineering-to-fabrication workflows for sheet metal, wood, composites, plastics, and other flat-cut manufacturing applications.
